Winter in Bodensdorf, Steindorf and Tiffen
The GERLITZEN ALPE ski area (1,000 m - 1,911 m above sea level) is just off the motorway exit "Villach-Ossiacher See". Enthroned high above Lake Ossiach and favored by hours on end of sunshine, Gerlitzen offers skiing pleasures in abundance. 60 km of wide, well-groomed slopes served by 15 ski lifts and cable cars - what else could you possibly dream of?
Winter activities off the slopes include ice skating (Ossiacher See Halle indoor rink), winter walking, culture and art-related events - and lingering at some of the restaurants, bars and pubs throughout the town.
