The hiking region of the southern Waldviertel extends itself from the Danube valley over the Ysper and the Weiten valleys, from the highlands of the Ostrong and the Jauerling to the Weinsberger forest, the southern foothills of the northern forest and the granite & gneiss highlands of the Waldviertel.
