Forsteralm boasts seven T-bar ski lifts, a beginner´s lift and 16 kilometers of immaculate ski runs ideal for families and children. Quaint mountain inns and huts, serving regional delights and specialties, await you within the entire ski area.
Those who prefer a more relaxing stay at the heart of Upper Austria are invited to explore the beautiful countryside. Choose from a wide range of winter hiking trails and snowshoeing routes.
The village´s traditional inns will spoil you with regional specialties and culinary delights accompanied by a glass of fine wine.

A pilgrimage place rich in history!
Picturesque "Sankt Sebald am Heiligen Stein" Mountain Church
The precious church is rich in history and the only Austrian church consecrated to Saint Sebald. Over the years the church has become a popular place of pilgrimage where prayers from all over the region find peace and silence.
