Retzer Land - "Tuscany of Austria"

Retz is the ideal base for day trips to the many interesting sights of the Waldviertel and the Weinviertel, where you find more castles and fortresses than in any other region of Austria. The metropolitan city of Vienna with its famous opera house is only an hour´s drive away, and you can also visit the Czech Republic since we are close to the borders.
