The garden hotel and wine estate Pfeffel is located between vineyards and the Danube river, close to Dürnstein, in the heart of the Wachau valley.

skip About 900 m west of Dürnstein, you can find our charming hotel at the foot of the Vogelberg (vineyard hill). If you like comfortable atmosphere, rooms with balcony and view over the Danube, you will certainly feel at home in our romantic house.

You can spend pleasant hours on the terrace, in the winter garden or in the fireplace room, enjoying a wine tasting-candlelight dinner or á la carte dishes and trying the wines of the boardering private vineyard. For sunny hours but also for refreshment after an exhausting cycling day, the swimming facility and the sauna are ideal places to relax.
