The name "Saladina" sounds a little bit oriental and comes from the ´räto Romance´ usage and means "The rock in the meadow". Today the name have to be interpreted completely different -"experience and relaxation", "gastronomical meeting point in Montafon", "innovative seminar programs" or "culture and art place".

The rock still exists, but now in a completely different form. The Saladina is a very homey house, nestled in the mountains of the Montafon and is situated in the center of the village of Gaschurn(100 m away from the gondola Versettla in the ski area Silvretta Nova as wall as 80 m away from the village center of Gaschurn). It offers with its varied offers relaxation, experience, fun and education.
